Various open spaces filled with liveliness for the improvement of team medical care
This project is a laboratory established through an industry-academia partnership involving the Tsukuba University Hospital and LSI Medience Corporation to improve the quality of local medical services.
It is a complex with multi-faceted missions, including not only clinical examination services being commissioned by local hospitals, but also acting as a practical training location for laboratory technicians, archiving clinical specimens and conducting research activities in the field of medical science.
Recently, there is a special need for accurate and speedy team medical care in collaboration and cooperation with doctors. To meet this need, we concentrated on creating a space for various activities, which is open to facilitate communications.
The façade is transparent so as to allow internal activities to be seen from the outside and to provide the message that this space serves to create new values through an industry-academia partnership.
For the launch of this innovative project, comprehensive planning was carried out, including building design, corporate identity design, VI design and furniture design.
